Saudi EER Energy Efficiency Certification
Product range:
Saudi EER energy efficiency certification is a mandatory certification issued by the Saudi Arabian Bureau of Standards (SASO). Since 2010, Saudi Arabia has enforced the requirement of attaching energy efficiency labels to some electrical products imported into the Saudi market. Suppliers (manufacturers, importers, manufacturers, or their authorized representatives) who violate this regulation will bear all legal responsibilities arising from this.
Scope of Saudi Energy Efficiency Certification:
Air conditioning within 1.70000 Btu/h (20KW)
2. Refrigerators up to 100 liters (39 cft), refrigerators up to 850 liters (30 cft)
Washing machines up to 3.25 kilograms
4. Lighting equipment
5. Motor (375-075) KW
6. Automotive fuel economy label
7. Tires
8. Commercial air conditioning
9. Electric clothes dryer
10. Water heater
The process of Saudi energy efficiency certification:
1. SASO designated laboratory issues energy efficiency testing report
2. Submit application and upload technical documents in the Saudi Energy Efficiency Registration System
3. SASO engineers review and issue energy efficiency certificates and labels
