Testing of toys and baby products
Product range:
Routine toy inspection
overview
Toy means any product or material designed or intended for play by children under the age of 14. In order to strengthen the supervision of children's toy product quality and ensure the safety of children in the process of playing, countries around the world are stepping up resumes and play toy product quality and safety standards.
At present, the conventional toy testing standards mainly include:
China Toy Safety Technical Specification GB6675;
EU toy safety standard EN71;
American toy safety standard ASTM F963;
U.S. Federal Consumer Product Safety Act CPSC;
CPSIA;
Canadian Dangerous Products (Toys) Regulations C.R.C.C.C931; Japanese Toy Safety Standard ST2012;
International safety standard ISO8124 and other national standards.
The toy standards specified by each country specify the requirements and test methods for toys for different age groups from newborn infants to 14-year-olds, and these requirements vary according to the age group corresponding to the toys. The requirements for toys used by children in specific age groups are based on the characteristics of the satellite and the intellectual and physical strength of the child.
Electric toy detection
overview
Electric toys are usually popular with children because they have more play and use functions. Since electronic circuits are used in toys, in order to fully protect the safety of children, the safety of electrical appliances and the related safety issues brought by them have attracted the attention of various countries.
