GCC Certification for Gulf Seven Countries
Product range:
GCC is the abbreviation for the Gulf Arab Cooperation Council (GULF. COOPERATION. COUNCIL). The Gulf Arab Cooperation Council established the GSO Standards Organization in Kuwait on October 12, 2004
GCC Gulf Seven Major Member States (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, United Arab Emirates)
GCC certification
1) The manufacturer shall provide product information (instruction manual, circuit diagram, customs code), samples, and GCC certification application form;
2) The organization conducts document review and evaluates the safety and electromagnetic compatibility of products according to GCC technical regulations, determines product testing standards, and conducts testing;
3) The institution completes the testing, writes and reviews the report, and registers the product in the GSO database. The certification system assigns the product registration number. After the review is approved, the application number and QR code of the GSO Standards Bureau are submitted, and a draft is issued
4) Draft confirmation and issuance of original certificate
G-mark certification process:
1) The manufacturer shall provide product information (instruction manual, circuit diagram, customs code), samples, and G-mark certification application form;
2) The organization conducts document review and evaluates the safety and electromagnetic compatibility of products according to GCC technical regulations, determines product testing standards, and conducts testing;
3) The organization completes testing, writes and reviews reports, and registers products in the GSO database. The certification system assigns product registration numbers;
4) The institution issues a GCC formal certificate and grants customers the use of the GCC logo on the product.
Regulated products
At present, the following 13 specific categories of electrical products have been included in the scope of GCC mandatory certification. It is necessary to obtain a GCC type certification certificate issued by a recognized institution designated by GSO, and the product must be marked with GCC in order to be circulated among 7 Gulf Member States. Products with GCC logo indicate that the product has met the requirements of GCC technical regulations.

After providing complete information, complete the review within 3-5 working days, draft the manuscript and QR code
After confirming the draft, issue the original within 7-10 working days (according to the time of GSO Standards Bureau)
How much does GCC certification cost? GCC certification validity period
