EU RoHS
EU RoHS refers to Directive 2011/6/EU of the European Parliament and the Council issued in June 2011 "On the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment", which stipulates that the restriction of ten substances in homogeneous materials of 65 categories of electronic and electrical equipment shall not be greater than the maximum allowable content, and compliance with the directive is a basic requirement for electronic and electrical products to enter the EU market.

China RoHS
On July 2016, 7, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Development and Reform Commission and other eight ministries and commissions jointly issued the "Administrative Measures for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products", which stipulates that manufacturers and importers of electrical and electronic products in China shall label the names, contents, components, recyclability and environmental protection use period of harmful substances contained in electrical and electronic products placed on the market.
On May 1, 8, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued an announcement on the Implementation Arrangement of the Conformity Assessment System for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products, requiring that 2019 products shipped and imported after November 5, 16 listed in the "Catalogue for the Management of Restricted Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (First Batch)" should choose the voluntary certification or self-declaration method of the national push Complete the conformity assessment for the restricted use of hazardous substances in the product.

Saudi RoHS
Saudi Arabia Standards and Metrology Quality Organization (SASO) issued 2021-7-9-01 "Technical Regulation on the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment" on July 09, 21, which stipulates that the control of 179 hazardous substances in 6 categories of electronic and electrical products shall not be greater than the maximum allowable content, and the technical regulation will be mandatory from January 6, 2022. Only products that meet the requirements can apply for SASO RoHS certification.
