Product range:
The IP level test is mainly used to assess the reliability of the shell protection of various electrical product shells and seals under various harsh environmental conditions such as dust, wet water or diving, so as to verify whether the working performance of products and components will be damaged, and also provide corresponding protection requirements for the human body to prevent contact with dangerous parts.
Luxshare Testing is equipped with perfect IP waterproof test equipment, and a team of senior certified testing engineers in the industry can provide IP waterproof level testing for the majority of lighting manufacturers.
IP code: indicates the protection level of the shell. The protection level is divided into many categories, according to different numbers, the protection level of the product can be quickly and easily determined.
The first digit
0. No protection
1. Prevent solid particles with a diameter of 50mm or even larger from being completely penetrated by the tip or solid particles
with a diameter of 50mm or more 2. Prevent solid particulate matter with a diameter of 12.5mm or even larger from being completely penetrable or solid particles with a diameter of 12.5mm or more 3. Preventing solid particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5mm or even larger or solid particles
with a diameter of 2.5mm or more from being completely impenetrable
4. Anti-solid solid particles with a diameter of 1mm or even larger, the tip of the object or solid particles with a diameter of 1mm can not penetrate
at all 5. Dust protection: it cannot completely prevent dust from entering, but it will not reach the extent
of hindering the normal operation of the instrument and reducing safety 6. Dust confinement: dust cannot enter the object, and the entire diameter cannot exceed the gap of the shell
Second digit
0. No protection
1. Water droplets that prevent vertical falling, vertical falling water droplets will not cause harmful effects
2. Water droplets that prevent vertical falling when the shell is up to 15" 15. Water droplets that fall vertically will not cause harmful effects when the shell is cocked at any angle on either vertical side without more than 3" 60. Waterproof mist sprayed at any angle not exceeding 4% on any vertical side will not cause harmful effects
5. Anti-splashing water against the shell from any direction will not cause harmful effects 6. Anti-spray water spray against the shell from any direction will not cause harmful effects 7. Anti-strong water spray against the shell from any direction will not cause harmful effects
1. ANTI-SHORT-TERM IMMERSION AT ROOM TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE, WHEN THE SHELL IS TEMPORARILY IMMERSED IN WATER AT A DEPTH OF 8M WILL NOT CAUSE HARMFUL EFFECTS
7. ANTI-CONTINUOUS IMMERSION IS AGREED BY MANUFACTURERS AND USERS, BUT UNDER CONDITIONS THAT ARE HARSHER THAN <>, CONTINUOUS IMMERSION IN WATER WILL NOT CAUSE HARMFUL EFFECTS
