DOC is the abbreviation for declaration of conformity, commonly referred to as the EU Declaration of Conformity. It is a self declaration of product safety compliance and a self declaration mode in CE certification! It is an official certificate drafted by the manufacturer or its authorized representative. Before the product is launched on the European market, the manufacturer is required to issue a DOC compliance statement stating that their product meets all relevant European product safety requirements.
To apply for DOC certification! The premise is that your product must meet the standards you have listed, that is, it must pass the corresponding testing before issuing a declaration or certificate, attaching the CE mark, and circulating in the European Community market! That is to say, your product needs to first make a report that meets Amazon's standards, and then submit a DOC certification to Amazon.
The DOC declaration of conformity document is a mandatory document mandated by most European countries and regions. When entering the EU market, manufacturers must ensure that the product is accompanied by a DOC compliance declaration document and must keep a copy of it for 10 years after the product is placed on the market.
In addition, the EU declaration of conformity must also be translated into one or more languages required by the country/region where the product is sold.
The information that DOC files should contain
As a manufacturer, it is your responsibility to draft the EU Declaration of Conformity (DOC).
It should include the following information:
1. The company information should include: company name, company address, country, name, phone number, email address
2. The manufacturer's information should include: the manufacturer's company name and address
3. Product information should include: product name, brand, model, serial number
4. Declaration: The company assumes full responsibility, complies with relevant laws and any unified standards used to prove compliance with the product
5. European Representative Company and European Representative Address
6. Signature
7. Date of Declaration Issuance
