German WEEE registration steps
1. Registration: Step 1: Foreign companies must designate a local German company as their agent (for a period of 4 to 8 weeks). Step 2: Register, apply for a recycling number (for a period of 4 to 6 weeks), submit the product brand and category, and submit the predicted tonnage.
2. Bankruptcy Exit Protection:
Every year, bankruptcy exit protection must be submitted: to ensure that the company has commissioned a company to recycle the sold waste electrical appliances in the event of bankruptcy or exit from the European Union or the market (relevant insurance companies must underwrite it)
3. Monthly declaration and year-end declaration: At the beginning of each month, the total weight sold in the previous month must be submitted, and a sales data report for the previous year must be submitted annually.
4. Recycling of waste products: At any time after receiving an EAR notice, the waste container must be transported to the designated recycling station (must be executed by a recycling company).
